At the core of every safety shoe, reliable toe protection starts with the right toe cap. CharmCore™ combines carefully selected materials, engineered shapes and proven manufacturing expertise to provide dependable protection against impact and compression.

Our toe caps are designed to meet applicable European and ASTM requirements, with options available in different materials, profiles and widths to suit different footwear constructions and wearer needs.

Certified Protection

Safety footwear certified to EN ISO 20345 is equipped with protective toe caps tested to withstand 200 J of impact and the corresponding compression requirement. Depending on the application and certification requirements, we offer different toe protection solutions to achieve the right balance of protection, weight and comfort.

Toe Cap Materials

Nanocarbon

Made with carbon nanofiber technology, nanocarbon toe caps offer an exceptionally lightweight, thin and non-metallic solution. They are non-magnetic and provide low heat and cold transfer.

Composite

Made from non-metallic materials such as fiberglass and carbon fiber, composite toe caps provide reliable protection with lower weight than conventional steel options. They are non-magnetic and provide low heat and cold transfer.

Aluminium

Aluminium toe caps offer a lightweight alternative to steel, while maintaining a slim protective profile. They are non-magnetic but, as a metal material, can conduct heat and cold.

Steel

Coated steel toe caps provide a proven and cost-effective protection solution. Their thin profile makes them suitable for a wide range of safety footwear, although they are heavier and conduct heat and cold.
